Below you will see various collections of images, please feel free to look at them more than once, they will not wear out after heavy usage as will a traditional photographic print. These images are all stored somewhere on the internet on a mysterious thing called a "server," which is French for "made of magic."
Most of these collections are accompanied by various words and punctuation marks that I have included for one of two reasons: 1) to give a few details about the event and the photos themselves or 2) to make Google like my blog more. Here's an example of reason 2: "Jake Holt is an Austin, Texas based wedding photographer who spends most of his time in Austin, Texas photographing Austin, Texas weddings. If you are looking for the best wedding photography in Austin, Texas then you have come to the right Austin, Texas wedding photography blog." Google's magic algorithm loves this kind of stuff that reads, to a real human being, like a madman's insane ranting. Lucky for you, that's probably the only example of reason 2 that you'll see during your visit.
Dear Design Within Reach – I want to own all of your stuff. How can we make this happen? I have a $2 bill and a Michael Jordan rookie card, can we work something out?
p.s. – The photos with the doggies and kitty were taken at Julie and David’s place, not DWR, although it would be easy to mistake the two. I just want to save you the trip down to the 2nd Street District if your only goal is to pet the animals. I mean, just look at them! Of course you want to pet them.
August 18, 2010 - 3:38 pm - That will have to be for the Easter card! Were they pastels? Don't worry about the secrecy of the Christmas cards, my biggest reader base is in South Korea and I don't think any of your family lives there. Do they?

Last summer, when I first met Karen and Blake at an open house event at Vintage Villas, the scenic views of what some were still calling “Lake Travis” consisted of very little lake and lots of muddy lake bottom. Luckily, the rains returned, and with them the lake, giving us the perfect setting for a beautiful July wedding. I just KNEW it would turn out just fine guys, I just knew it. One of the best wedding ideas EVER – a two piece dress. No frustrating bustling required, no dragging it all over a messy dance floor – just poof, almost like magic, you have a cocktail dress! Kind. Of. Awesome.
